What is High Standards?
High Standards is an NCEA revision website made for New Zealand secondary school students. It has original, bite-sized revision notes, worked examples and tips written specifically for the NCEA achievement standards you sit.
Who is it for?
Students in Years 12–13 working towards NCEA Level 2, Level 3 or New Zealand Scholarship. It also helps parents and tutors who want a clear picture of exactly what each standard covers.
What does it provide?
Every topic page gives you concise bullet-point notes, key terms explained from scratch, labelled diagrams, step-by-step worked examples in NCEA exam style, exam-technique tips, and guidance on what separates Achieved, Merit and Excellence answers.
Does it match the official NCEA courses?
Yes. Content is written directly against the current NZQA achievement standards, and every page shows the AS number it covers (for example AS 91171) so you always know which exam it relates to. We link to official NZQA pages for past papers.
How should I use it to revise?
